Romans 10:9-10.

I’d like to spend some time explaining a little in detail regarding these individual facts. Not all will be as lengthy and complex as some. Where I feel greater emphasis is needed, I’ll provide ample commentary to try and help drive the point home. As I stated in the homepage, I want to give it an honest effort so let’s begin with fact # 1. It will likely have the most content, because if God doesn’t exist, then why even bother with the rest of it?

FACT # 1- God Does Exist – Our scripture for this fact is found in Hebrews 11:6 NASB. It reads as follows: “And Without faith, it is impossible to please Him. For he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him”. That’s great and all but what If I don’t believe in God you might ask? Don’t worry, God knew you were going to ask this question? In fact that’s the first pre-requisite to salvation. In order to be found, you must first be lost, or otherwise known as an UN-believer. Romans 10:14 NASB States “How then shall they call upon Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher”? Well I’m going to do my best to tell you about this God so you can believe in Him.

You see as humans, there are only 2 things that we can rely upon to explain the reality that we live in. Science, and Faith. Science will deal with the materialistic part of our existence. TEMPORARY things which are suitable to our five senses; otherwise known as the physical realm. Faith however will take us where Science cannot. It will deal with the immaterial part of our existence. Things that go above and beyond our natural 5 senses. Namely the spiritual part of our existence. ETERNAL things! 2 Corinthians 4:18 states that “things which are seen are temporal. Things which are unseen are eternal”.

Science can do a good job of explaining how things work, why they work the way they do, what things are made up of, how long something has been here etc. It doesn’t however do a credible job in explaining how things originally got here. It’s made up of theories, hypothesis, and facts if someone proves something by testing. Yet in order to label something a fact, we have to be able to prove it time and time again with the by- laws that govern the theory that we are trying to prove. In other words what’s true the first time, will be true every-time as long as everything that governs the conclusion stays the same. This will come into importance later on when I prove God’s existence with the by-laws of His word so keep this in mind! But before we do let’s look at some natural examples.

The law of gravity - What goes up must come down. Works time and time again; UNLESS you go beyond the jurisdictional limitations that govern this law. If I go beyond the gravitational field, the law of gravity doesn’t work anymore. At least not like it does here on earth. Gravity doesn’t do to well in outer space. But for those of us on earth within the gravitational field, it’s a law well suited to us and works great.

Another way to go beyond a law’s capabilities is to endorse a higher law. For example the law of AERODYNAMICS has an implied clause in it that says if I combine enough thrust with enough lift, while reducing as much drag as possible, then I can overcome the law of gravity. It works every-time as long as the governing bodies of this law remain intact. That’s how airplanes fly by the way. The second you take either thrust or lift away, or create too much drag, gravity is supreme and the plane can’t fly anymore. At this point no longer does the airplane super-cede the law of gravity, rather it becomes subject to it again. These simple examples prove 3 things. That there are laws, higher laws and that all laws have jurisdictional limitations. My ultimate case in theory is going to be that God cannot be explained by natural scientific law because of this. He can however be explained by faith. Faith in what He has said about Himself in His own word. God can and will become real to you and me in the parameters of faith but first let’s examine why scientific explanation won’t cut it when it comes to God.

God goes way beyond the reach of any scientific law and explanation because science is limited to Time, Space, and Matter. You take any 3 of these away and science falls apart no matter which sub-category of science you’re dealing with. God is not contained or limited by these. If He were He would not be God. The simplest definition of GOD is one who reigns supremely above EVERYTHING. Nothing can be higher in rank or essence. If time, space, or matter could contain Him, then God would be subject to them and no longer be God. This is what separates Christianity from all other faiths, and religions. In fact, unless you embrace God this way, you can’t be a Christian period. The Christian faith implies that God is God of all, or He is not God at all. Jesus is King of Kings and Lord of Lords the Bible says. Not just a king, or a lord, but The King of all Kings, and the Lord, of all Lords period. There is nothing above Him. He is in fact God.

We have to embrace a boundless, limitless God by FAITH. Nothing else will do. Not even our finite logic because God is infinite.  NATURAL law can’t explain a SUPERNATURAL GOD. While Science can explain and answer a lot of things, 1 thing remains that Science simply can’t, nor ever will be able to do. Measure or give an explanation of GOD! As I said before only Faith can take God Himself at His own word and trust that what He has said about Himself is true.

Let’s examine a little bit to see how this fits together. Let’s start with Time. You can only go back so far in TIME, until you have to come to the conclusion that everything as we know it started somewhere. Because of something or someone. At this point science is finished. Evolution is theoretical in nature and not factual. Science might be able to trace all existence back to 1 tiny atom, but the question still remains! Where did that 1 little atom come from? Who gave it life within itself? Or the ability to divide and cause new life? Science can’t cross that beginning border where time began. It can offer many theories on what it thinks might have happened, but it cannot tell you with absolute certainty. Therefore science is not an exact science. It has its limitations. How could an imperfect science explain a perfect God? It Can’t. That’s where FAITH comes in. That’s where God’s word comes in to fill in the blanks.

Only God can deal with the things that are beyond the grasp of Time, Space, and Matter. You see its God’s business to address eternal matters. Things beyond the past, present, and future that make up time. He knows that everything that you and I encounter in this life is simply temporal. It’s all fleeting, and in His opinion a very, very brief scratch on the surface of eternity. There is however an eternal part of you and me that He is very keenly aware of and interested in. Our soul. The part of you and I that you can’t see. The immaterial. The part that is not made up or governed by natural MATTER.

It is this eternal part of you that makes this question so valuable! What happens to you and me when time runs out? We have need to rely upon someone or something that exists outside the parameters of time if we are to have any confidence at all in regards to what happens to us in this state.

Think about the reference point I mentioned a little earlier for a minute or two! The one regarding science not being able to cross the initial beginning threshold of time. If science can’t cross the beginning border of time and explain our origin, then it likewise cannot cross the end border of it either and explain our final destination. Only faith can do that. God loves you enough to tell you what science can’t.

The TRUTH in regards to what happens to you and I after our time is up? Not some guess or hypothesis. You see God is eternal.  He existed long before time, and He will be here long after time is no more. Jesus Christ contains all the truth you and I need to know about the things we can’t explain. John 14:6 NASB “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No man comes to the Father except through me”! What lies beyond the boundaries of time? The infinite! The spiritual! The Eternal!!!

If you’re honest with yourself; I think I can safely assume that you have a longing on the inside of you to exist forever am I right or wrong? The very thought of you running out and existing no more just don’t cut it does it? No! It doesn’t for me either. Well did you know that God is who put that desire to live forever on the inside of you? Don’t take my word for it, take His. ECCLESIASTES 3:11 states NASB-“God has made everything appropriate in its time. He has also set ETERNITY in their hearts. That’s YOU and ME! He has imparted Himself into us by creating us in His image. He is eternal, therefore we long for it too. None of us will ever be content with anything less. If you can agree with that let’s dig deeper.

While I can’t place God before your physical eyes and say here He is, believe in Him, I can however use the only standard of measure that’s acceptable to measure God with and prove His existence. In order to do that we’ll have to use a proper standard of measure. We’ll have to find something that will outlast time space and matter in order to do it, but I think such a thing does exist. God says that Heaven and Earth will pass away; but (MY WORD) shall never pass away! There we have it! His Eternal Word! Let me give a simple example to set the stage of how I want to approach what I’m fixing to elaborate on.

If I want to tell you how hot or cold something is; I can’t tell you in inches, feet, or miles. I can however tell you in Fahrenheit or Celsius. Likewise, I can’t tell you how much electricity is flowing through your house by cups, liters, or gallons. But I can tell you in volts, amps, and watts. The examples are endless. What I’m saying is this: In order to accurately measure something, you have to use a legitimate standard. Nothing else will work. What makes us think measuring God would be any different?

With that in mind there are 2 acceptable things that exist to measure the credibility of God’s existence from the Christian viewpoint. HIS WORD, and HIS LOVE. His word being the rule, and His love being the unit of measure. Do you remember earlier in the beginning of this that I said that in order to prove something is a fact, you have to be able to test it time and time again, and repeatedly arrive at the same conclusion every single time? Well I’m fixing to attempt to prove to you that Jesus is God, and that He does indeed exist by relying on what the Bible says that God is.  (LOVE). Jesus will pass this test every-time. 1 Corinthians 13 defines what love is. If you put Jesus name in place of love every-time it is mentioned, you will clearly see that He perfectly matches up to every quality mentioned, time and time again. 1 John 4:8 NASB states, “The one who does not love, does not know God, FOR GOD IS LOVE”.

If God is Love, then Love is God. No God = No Love, and No Love = No God. You can’t have one without the other according to the Christian Bible. Christianity hinges also on this fact. That God is love, and those who claim to know Him ought also to love one another. See 1 John chapter 4.

When I say that without God there is no love, I’m saying it based upon the Christian viewpoint period. Often times’ people will get mad and say that I’m using the Bible as the only standard for truth to prove my point. To you I say you’re exactly right.

After all, I’m not trying to convert you to become anything other than a Christian based upon what the Bible says a Christian should be. There are many different religions, and many different viewpoints that people have regarding God. Christianity is a relationship with God and not a religion. It is based upon God coming to mankind, and not mankind trying to get to God. I have friends from different religions who try and tell me that their God and my God is the same God. My answer to that is this. If Jesus Christ is not you’re God, then your God and my God are not the same God. Furthermore it would be a hopeless cause to try and persuade you that Jesus Christ is God, using any other religious authority other than the Bible.

I am a Christian and I am trying to persuade you to become a Christian as well by believing that Jesus Christ is God and the ONLY way to heaven, and that He does indeed exist as the ONE whom the Christian Bible alone says that He is! The God of Love! The God who is Love Period! 1 John 4:8

You see God demonstrated His own love toward you and I by the fact that while you and I were yet sinners, Jesus Christ died for us. Romans 5:8 NASB. With that said, I need not persuade you that God exists. If GOD is Love then I simply just need to get you to believe that Love exists. The rest will fall into place upon believing this. To further prove my point let’s test it some-more and then I’ll rest my case on this first fact.

We’ve already established that If God is Love, then love is God. The 2 are totally interchangeable and you’ll still end up at the same conclusion. Now consider this: If God transcends time, space, and matter, then so would love according to this theory. Let’s keep in mind that time is 3 fold in itself. Past, Present, and Future. Likewise so is space. Length, Width, and Height. Matter is no different, Solid, Liquid, Gas.

Can you think of anyone who ever transcended time, space, and matter, to get to you and me? I can. Jesus Christ. Time - The bible says that He Left the eternal heaven where He enjoyed all the full benefits of the Godhead for all eternity. Space - He came into our earthly 3 dimensional environment where he lived by the same physical parameters that you and I are governed by for 33 ½ years, Matter - He took on a different form. Human flesh. If that don’t transcend all 3, I don’t know what does. He’s the only person I can think of that has ever existed, that matches up to all 3. What would compel someone to do such a thing? Pure Love Period! A further look into the characteristics of Jesus life while on earth will likewise prove that He was and is God. He did numerous things that no other human has ever done. He ruled supremely over time, space, and matter multiple times in his life. Read the Gospel accounts!

Time - Jesus Christ always was, presently is, and ever shall be God. Revelation 1:8 “I am the Alpha, and the Omega, The first and the Last. The one who Was, Who Is, and who is to come”. John 1:1 in the beginning was the Word, and the word was with God and the Word was God. Without Him nothing has come into being that has come into being. He’s in Genesis 1:26 as well. That is Jesus that it’s talking about. He is the Word. Jesus appears in the bible many different times separated by hundreds of years.

I’d like to use Daniel 3:25 which gives us the Biblical account where Jesus appears in the fiery furnace with the 3 faithful Jews who refused to bow down and worship King Nebuchadnezzar’s image of gold. This isn’t the only weapon I could use in my arsenal, it’s simply one out of hundreds. Honestly don’t know why I chose it. But it will work for illustrative purposes. Let’s keep in mind that this account would have happened some 5 to 6 hundred years prior to Jesus Christ’s actual physical birth. King Nebuchadnezzar makes the statement in this passage “Look, I see four men walking around in the fire, and one of them looks like the Son of God”. The king knew for certain that he had thrown 3 in the fire but not 4. If that’s true, then Jesus appeared on the scene way before His time in history. That transcends time.

SPACE – Romans 8:35-39 NASB “Who will separate us from the Love of JESUS CHRIST? Vs. 39 Not height, nor depth, or any created thing! Not death or life, angels or principalities. Things present or things to come”. Jesus apparently had to leave wherever He was in heaven or somewhere else un-known to us in order to get to these same 3 men in the fiery furnace. Love compelled Him to come to them and go through the fiery trial with them because they chose to take a stand for Him. He transcended space to get to them motivated by love. Not only that He and they were unharmed by the fire. Catch my drift?

MATTER - Jesus walked on the water to get to his disciples who were frightened from the storms of life. Mathew 14:22. He passed through the wall of the disciples’ house without going through the door to enjoy fellowship with them again AFTER He was raised from the dead. John 20:19-20. He received a resurrection body that’s different from our present bodies that allowed him to ascend to heaven and hell unscathed. He was transfigured before Peter and John on the mount of transfiguration. He multiplied 12 loaves of bread and 5 fish to feed 4 thousand people. He healed the sick, raised the dead, opened the eyes of the blind, caused the lame to walk, and many other things contained in scripture.

The people of His day would make comments such as who is this who does these things? We have never seen anyone do the things that this man does. A roman soldier who would have been a direct opposing enemy of Christ even said of Him after Jesus died on the cross “Surely this was the Son of God”. That statement alone was legal grounds for execution, or being stripped of all the privileges that come with being a Roman citizen. His own disciples asked the question as well. “Who is this that rebukes the wind and the waves and they obey Him”? Proof that He was God even over the elements.

The bible is filled with so many examples. So much in fact that in the closing chapter of the gospel of John, it says all these things Jesus did while amongst us. However if everything was written that could be written of the things that He did, I suppose that not even all the libraries in the world would be able to contain the books that would be written. These examples all prove Jesus to be supreme over all. Time, Space, and Matter. Therefore since He is larger than life itself, no earthly, finite explanation of God will work. Only the testimony of what He has said about Himself will adequately satisfy. Will you and I believe what He has said?

Faith is the answer when it comes to dealing with God. Not logic. Proverbs 16:25 puts it this way. “There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end thereof is the way of death”. Feelings are highly deceptive, but God’s word is true. I challenge you to open it up and spend some time in it for yourself. You’ll soon come to realize He knows what He’s talking about! I’m closing Fact #1 by saying that love exists, therefore God DOES EXIST and that without FAITH, it is impossible to please GOD! For He who comes to him must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him.

FACT#2 - The Bible Is True – Our Scripture for this fact will be 2 Timothy 3:16 NASB which states “All scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness”. - Since God does exist, and He is Love, it is only fitting that He give us a proper guideline to go by in order to live this life according to Him. That’s where the Bible comes into play. He has done just that. He didn’t just leave us here to figure it out on our own. He left us instruction through HIS word.

What does it mean that all scripture is inspired by God? It simply means that God used the minds of men who were under the influence of the Holy Spirit to write what He wanted them to write. It means that God will stand behind everything that is contained in scripture. There is nothing in it that’s not supposed to be there, and there is nothing lacking that should be present. It also means that you can trust it for exactly what it claims to be. GODS’ WORD PERIOD!

Some translations of the bible translate our contextual verse as all scripture is God breathed; rather than inspired by God. That would mean that you and I should take it as words that came directly out of God’s mouth. (God Breathed). God used people who were willing to subject themselves to Him; so that what was written would be instrumental in leading anyone to a right relationship with HIM.

To be inspired simply means to be influenced from an external or internal force other than ourselves. It can go one of two ways. We can be influenced by good or evil but there is a difference. - Evil influence will not ask for your permission. Rather it will infringe upon your own freewill so as to override it. It will compel you through temptation to succumb to it. It knows your weaknesses and plays on them to destroy you. Satan will use you like a doormat. Walk all over you every chance he gets to steal from you or someone else, to kill you or someone else, and to destroy you or someone else with you or through you. God will not force Himself upon you. He will however use anyone who is willing to be used by Him. All it takes is the willingness, and obedience to do what He tells you to do. Let me use a very simple personal life experience of mine to frame this idea of being influenced.

I have visited with a lot of guys in prison over the past few years, and most all of their stories are very similar in nature. Time and time again, the common theme that is shared amongst most of them is this. “They were under the influence of drugs or alcohol when they committed the crime that put them there”.

While that in and of itself is not a plausible excuse for doing what they’ve done, it does prove that there is something connected to these mind and mood altering substances that causes people to do abnormal things while under the INFLUENCE of them. (Satanic-spirits who take advantage of every open door that we as people give them). Very few people are incarcerated due to committing violent crimes in their right minds.

I can also attest to that very fact from personal experience as well. I haven’t always been a follower of the Lord as some may think! I know firsthand the effect that drugs, alcohol, and substance abuse has on a person. I was heavily addicted to alcohol for 15 years. I have used various hard drugs as well in my earlier years. I’ve been arrested at least 15 times due to choices that were induced by being under the influence. Faced 3 separate 25 + year prison sentences, served 10 years of supervised probation because of them, and 16 months locked away all due to their influence. I’m not entirely foreign to this kind of stuff. Every single time I have ever sat in handcuffs, or on my way to jail, it has been because of something I did while under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

Never once in my life did I ever get my-self into messes of magnitude without the help of these substances. The devil will take advantage of every opportunity you give him! When you open yourself up and subject yourself to these kind of things, it is open season on you as far as he is concerned simply because you’re vulnerable. As already stated, he will steal, kill, and destroy you if you allow him to. He is patient, and he is crafty enough to give you enough rope to hang yourself!

On the flip side of that I have been INSPIRED by God’s word daily for years now, and His Spirit to do many good things for myself and others. Things I have never had to regret. Things I’ve never been embarrassed over, or hung my head in shame over the next day. Many times in my life I have had the privilege of operating under the anointing INFLUENCE or INSPIRATION of the Holy Spirit. Every single time that has been the case, nothing but good has come out of it. People have been re-born or taken a new lease on life. God’s spirit has compelled me to go out of my way to benefit others, give to others, and take the necessary time to invest in others etc. Yet none of it has any strings of regret.

God will never INSPIRE or Influence you to do anything that you’re going to regret later. As we learned in our first point, He is Love. He always has our and other peoples’ best interest in mind. God will use His word working through us to give us guidance, direction and INSPIRATION for living!

2 Peter 1:3 tells us that God’s divine power has granted to us everything pertaining to LIFE and GODLINESS. God wants to INFLUENCE us to love one another on a daily basis by His Holy Spirit. The only way you and I will do that is to become familiar with His word of truth, and be willing to put it into action. God will inspire or lead you to serve Him through His already revealed word.

All scripture is given by INSPIRATION of GOD Period! Simply penned by men under the INFLUENCE of a loving God who has nothing but good plans in store for anyone and everyone who would dare trust Him to guide their lives. Jeremiah 29:11-13 says “For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord. Plans to prosper you and not to harm you. To give you a future and a hope”!

Now that you’ve been preached to, I’d like to give you just a few short examples to encourage you if you do have some skepticism regarding the integrity of the Bible. These are going to be a few mild factual examples chosen at random for illustrative purposes and encouragement, however there literally is no end as to how deep you can go to discover all there is that points to the validity of scripture. I encourage you to press on further in your own spare time. (You’ll be glad you did).

But to begin and get you started in your quest for the truth, The bible is a book of books. It contains 66 books from Genesis to Revelation. It has 40 different authors who lived in different geographic locations, and also lived at different times in history. In fact there is an approximate 1500 year gap between the first book recorded and the last. It was written in 3 different original languages. Hebrew, and Aramaic in the Old Testament. Greek in the New Testament. It is the uncontested best-selling book of all time and has been translated into at least 349 languages.

One of the greatest tools we have that proves the legitimacy of the Bible is Prophecy. Prophecy is simply history written in advance. No other book on the face of the planet even attempts prophecy with means of fulfilling it. The Bible not only attempts prophecy; History proves that it has fulfilled it perfectly throughout the passing of time. The odds alone regarding biblical prophecy ought to convince the most critical skeptic. I encourage you to do a private investigation as to how many prophecies there are that have literally been fulfilled from the Bible and see if you remain a skeptic.

I had a guy tell me one time that the reason the bible was able to do this was because it was all written as a myth at the same time. My first rebuttal to that would be who in their right mind has that kind of time laying around, and why? Most people won’t even read it cover to cover in their lifetime. Furthermore if that were the case, whoever made it up had to have an exceptional memory to make it all harmonize and fit together so perfectly. After all it does have 66 books, 1,189 chapters, 31,101 verses, 783,137 words and 3,566,480 letters. If you put 2 or more people in a room and tried to get them to come up with a story that complemented each other so well they’d go insane before it was all said and done. In light of that very example, I’m reminded of a childhood analogy which states that if you tell the truth, you don’t have to remember what you’ve told everyone. The reason it all fits together so perfectly is because it is the truth period. Each person doing his or her part in sharing what God instructed them to share for the benefit of present and successive generations.

Keep in mind the historical timeframe in which the Bible was all written. This is all pre-cellphone and internet age where you can’t just dial someone up and get your story together. Yes the world did function prior to the technological dispensation! Like I said before, 1500 years, 40 different authors, hundreds even thousands of miles of different Geographic locations of these authors. Different language barriers? There’s no possible way these people could have gotten together and made it up. Science and History will tell the truth regarding that matter. There are numerous historical artifacts that certainly give plausible credentials to the Bibles authenticity as well.

I didn’t want to bash science too hard during the first fact because of this. While science couldn’t do a whole lot to prove the existence of God, it can however do a lot to verify the accuracy of the Bible. Science and historical factual data can go a long way to verify many things contained within the pages of scripture. I recommend a little book by Ray Comfort called Scientific Facts in the Bible. 100 Reasons to believe the Bible is Supernatural in Origin. It is filled with examples regarding this.

Astronomy can provide much credibility to the Bibles accuracy. There is one occasion where time stood still in the bible for about a full day. See Joshua 10:13 for this account. There is also another occasion where the sun went backward on the steps in order to signify that King Hezekiah would have 15 additional years added to his life. That basically means that time reversed for a few hours in one particular day. See Isaiah 38:8 for this account. Catastrophic meteor showers can be verified as well.

Geology can verify certain dates with major catastrophic events in the Bible such as specific earthquakes. Just so happens that a certain total eclipse and earthquake are traceable to a specific day in the same geographic area of Jerusalem. That would confirm the day Jesus was crucified. Not only was there a total eclipse, but the earth shook violently enough for the temple veil to be split, and the graves to be broken up according to the Bible. Geology and Astronomy can both confirm that.

Archaeology verifies numerous accounts – Skeletal remains of giants that the bible makes mention of, ancient kings tombs and insignia, well sites, inscription names on coins dated to biblical time specific content. Plaques with the same type of memorabilia, ancient ruins of cities and civilizations etc.

Conventional medical wisdom that was unheard of in its time gives tremendous credentials and plausibility - Certain sanitary laws, diet and meal preparation laws, legal advice, government, etc.

I can personally attest to the Bibles accuracy as can untold millions of active Christians in the world today who have personally applied its truths and principles and found them to be true! WILL YOU?

Fact # 3 – I have sinned in Disobeying God’s law! – Not just me; you too and everyone else. Our Scripture Content for this fact is Romans 3:23 NASB which states “For ALL have sinned and fall short of the glory of God”. Because God loves us, He gave us His word. Because His word is true, there is an absolute certainty that when you and I spend some-time in it, we will have to come to terms with the fact that God is perfect and we are not. He is sinless and we are sinful. We all fall short of His glory. It is imperative that we get this point because if we’re never convinced that we have a disease, we will never be willing to take the remedy for it. Jesus said “it’s not the healthy who need a physician but the sick. Furthermore Jesus said I did not come to call the righteous to repentance, but sinners”.

His law is what will be instrumental in proving to us that we are sinful creatures. In fact that is His laws’ purpose. To prove to us that we all fall short of its’ demands, and to point us to the only acceptable sacrifice for our sins; Jesus Christ. (Galatians 3:24). Since God is the only perfect being, it’s only acceptable that He Himself could keep such a perfect law. He has done just that and made a way for us to be right with HIM through His Son Jesus Christ. But I ask the question again, what right do you want with a savior, if you’re not a sinner? You’ve got to be lost in order to be found.

Some burden lifting news is the fact that we are all in the same sunken boat together. What’s true for you is true for me and what’s true for me is true for you regarding sin. I’m in no worse shape than you are, and you are in no worse shape than I am though we’re all collectively in a huge mess. Your sin is no worse than mine, and mine is no worse than yours as far as God is concerned. He equally is intolerant of all of it. From the least to the greatest. Because of that very fact; God has equal justice for all sinfulness. It doesn’t matter which law you break. All of them carry an eternal death sentence. We are all destined to perish unless someone intervenes and sets the record straight. That’s what our scripture tells us. All have sinned and come short of the glory of God. Romans 3:10 tells us “There is none righteous, not even one”! No natural man is exempt! Only Jesus, who fact # 4 will tell us about.

Humans have what is called a sin nature by default. It is an inherited spiritual disease from Adam and Eve, the first people who ever lived on the face of the earth. If you don’t agree with that let me ask you if you have to teach a child to scream and kick and fuss when they don’t get there way? I know the answer to that because I have 3 of them. I also was one myself. We all were rotten to the core the day we were born. None of us had to be educated on how to be selfish from the start. It was bred into us. As my kids got older I also realized I didn’t have to teach them to fight with each other. They naturally knew how. I didn’t have to teach them how to be greedy and hoard everything to themselves. They were experts at it by default. The list goes on and on proving we were born this way. Case in point; we don’t have to be taught the wrong things to do. We have to be taught the right. Sinfulness is your inheritance just for being born a human being. That’s the price we all pay.

Apart from God’s Holy Spirit dwelling on the inside of us through being BORN AGAIN; you and I have no right or reason to expect that we should conduct ourselves HABITUALLY in any other fashion except what seems natural to our selfish sinful desires. Apart from God living on the inside of us; there is no real, lasting love. God’s Love is always self-less and inclusive of others, and without love we are naturally selfish, naturally sinful and naturally in desperate need of a supernatural savior. Apart from the new birth in Christ we are basically creatures of instinct. We react rather than respond. We have need of someone who will tell us the truth in regard to ourselves and not hold back. Because God loves us He will do that. He is not a man that He should lie. (Numbers 23:19). God says we all fall short. Our next fact will be instrumental in explaining what God has done about it.

Fact # 4 – God loves me and sent His one and only Son Jesus Christ to live and die for me! – Our scriptural reference will be John 3:16 which states “For God so loved the world, that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him, should not perish but have eternal life”.

That is very good news. In fact it is the best news that any of us will ever hear. That is the gospel message in a nutshell. John 3:16 is probably the best known scripture amongst people both saved and unsaved. I’m sort of an analytical thinker so I ask the question. What makes the good news so good? Is it because it is indeed genuinely good news all by itself? Would it still be good news if no bad news existed? Or is it that the good news is so good because the bad news is awful? I think that all 3 of them could be true in light of the gospel message. For me it was the bad news of hell and punishment that made the good news of a savior and eternal life all the more appealing. Maybe you’re not as hard headed or hearted as I was. Maybe you’ll accept the good news for what it is without having to consider the bad. Maybe you won’t. However you arrive at the conclusion of your need to be saved is fine with me just make sure you realize it before it’s too late by whatever means it takes.

An incarcerated man that I interviewed in prison once asked me “what was it that made me want to give my life to Jesus”? My rapid response was “the bad news”. One of my aunts had given me a book when I was 12 years old entitled “A Divine Revelation of Hell, Authored by Mary K. Baxter”. I must have read it at least 10 times. If ever a book existed that would scare the hell out of anyone this was it. It got my attention real quick and sent me on a quest for the truth. At 12 years old I didn’t have the biblical knowledge of the scriptures that I do today; however I was familiar enough with the Bible to know that there was an awful place called hell mentioned many times in its’ pages, and I knew that I didn’t want to be there. I knew for sure I didn’t want to be there after reading that book!

The Bible truthfully portrays hell as a place that has no end to suffering and regret. It is a place where Jesus says there is an eternal flame that tortures the souls of all who dwell there. Furthermore there is never any hope of getting out of such a place. Calling on God in a place like that is also useless as God does not exist there. It is a place where there is no rest day or night. Any luxury or privilege that is known to man is totally non-existent. No basic needs are met such as food or water. No fellowship with anyone else. Total isolation in an eternal agonizing misery that never ends, all the while remembering everything and everyone in and about your life on earth with no chance of ever going back.

A quote from a book called Dante’s Inferno sums it up better than anything I’ve ever heard. It portrays an image of a sign that hangs over the gates of hell that reads “Abandon all hope you who enter”. The very thought of that seems totally unappealing to me to say the least. The Bible tells a story in Luke 16:19-31 that will vividly give credentials to these realities of hell.

A man named Lazarus stood daily begging for bread at a certain rich mans’ gate during his lifetime. Luke 16:19-31. The rich man never once paid him any attention but rather continued living lavishly and luxurious with all the things that money could possibly buy, never giving one ounce of consideration for the basic needs of those less fortunate. The time came when both of them died, and the poor beggar was carried away by God’s angels to a place of comfort and paradise, while the rich man immediately woke up in an eternal nightmare only to find out it was no common nightmare, but a reality. It did not take the rich man long to realize that he was in a place that he didn’t want to be. What makes the story all the more tragic is that both of them retained the continuity that they both had with their lives while on earth. They were in fact still the same person they were on earth.

The story doesn’t seem to ever make mention of Lazarus reminiscing about his earthly existence; although I’m certain based upon other places in scripture that the redeemed do remember every detail of life on earth. I think the reason being for that is because the quality of life in heaven is so good that no one really seems anchored to how it was on earth. The rich man on the other hand remembered EVERYTHING on earth according to this story that Jesus so vividly portrays. I think that would definitely coincide with the fact that a man’s worst day on earth would never scratch the surface of one’s best day in hell. The rich man would gladly return to earth I’m sure and live as a poor beggar from now on if he could as opposed to what he was presently encountering in hell. Pure hopelessness would be an understatement!

What’s enough hell in and of itself is to forever know that you had numerous opportunities in life to avoid such a tragic ending by repenting of your wicked ways and placing your faith In Jesus and allowing Him to forgive you. This man had all the time the world had to offer him while he was alive. He didn’t have time for God then, and God doesn’t have any time left for him now. He had squandered every bit of time he had been given, and now the bill was due. The day of reckoning had arrived, and an account of his stewardship was demanded! Keep in mind that God is eternal. If He doesn’t have any time left for you, it’s an eternal consequence. We are given one life to live that will determine our eternal destiny. Any decision you and I make for God must be done within the confines of what time is entrusted to us on this earth. Right now is where it counts!

I’d like to close this fact by revisiting the question that was asked to me by the inmate (now friend of mine) during the prison interview. I had answered his question as to what it was that made me WANT to give my life to the Lord. What I didn’t do in the short time that was allowed for our visit was give him THE ANSWER he needed in order for him to be made right with God like I had been 18 years ago. I couldn’t hardly wait to return to him 3 weeks later and tell him that the real reason I am saved today is only because God made a way for me to be made right with Him through His Son Jesus Christ. Not only that, He patiently endured with me through so many years of my rebellion and ignorance.

While the bad news of hell and punishment was highly effective in getting my attention so as to turn to God and seek His forgiveness, it was the good news of a savior named Jesus Christ that actually made this transition possible. That is in fact the good news or the Gospel. The fact that God so loved the world, That He gave His one and only Son, that WHOEVER believes in Him, should not perish but have eternal life! (John 3:16). The reason that it says whoever believes in Him SHOULD not perish is because we have a personal responsibility in the matter. Gods’ part was to provide a savior. He did that. Our part is to believe in the savior that He provided. Jesus Christ His one and only Son.

Our salvation is totally dependent on whether or not we wholeheartedly believe In Jesus. If you perish it will be because you failed to believe in Him. This isn’t Santa-Clause we’re talking about here but the Son of the Living God. The only one who has ever lived to make you right with God. God is extending you a golden - opportunity to be made right with Him through His provision. His one and only Son Jesus Christ. God does indeed love you no matter what you’ve done and He is begging and pleading with you now in the confines of what time you presently have to turn to Him and be forgiven. The Son is the closest and surest way to the Fathers heart. Jesus is Gods’ one and only begotten Son! Believe in Him, Receive Him and be saved! Fact # 8 will tell us just exactly how to do that, but I want to give you just a few more things in between before we get there. If you’ve made it this far what’s 4 more facts? You’ll be glad you did and sharpened further to share your faith.

Fact # 5 – Jesus is the only one who can forgive me of my sins. Our scriptural reference for this fact is Acts 4:12 “And there is salvation in no one else. For there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved”.

I would like to point out real quick that this fact and fact # 7 will be similar in nature. Most of the important content discussed here will be covered a little more in depth by fact # 7. It is however very important to know that Jesus is the only one who can forgive my sins. Here are some reasons why.

Only God can forgive sin. Am I telling you that Jesus is God? Yes, that’s exactly what I’m saying. There is an account in the scriptures found in Mark 2:1-13 where Jesus healed a paralyzed man who was brought to him lying on a pallet and let down through the roof because the crowd of people gathered was so numerous. Before healing the man Jesus told Him in vs. 5 “My son, your sins are forgiven”. This infuriated the religious leaders of the day because they knew that only God had authority to forgive sins. According to them, Jesus was making Himself out to be God by making this statement and they couldn’t stand it. Jesus aware of it and wanting to give them a little glimpse of who He was, He turned to them and said, “which is easier to say”, your sins are forgiven, or to say arise, take up your pallet and walk”? But so that you may know that The Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins, He said to the paralytic, “I say to you, rise, take up your pallet and go home”. And the paralyzed man did just that. This was just one of many, many miracles that Jesus did throughout His earthly ministry proving that He was in fact God. No one had ever done the things that He did. In fact it was even said of Him, that no one but God alone could do the things that He did.

There is another man in the Bible who goes by the name of John the Baptist. He was actually Jesus cousin, but as the two of them grew older and both began their public ministry, John got to the point to where his ministry was costing him a lot of persecution and suffering. John knew that his own death was right around the corner, and wanting to make sure he had his faith in the right man, he sent his own disciples and followers to Jesus with a question in regards to just exactly who He was. The context for the story can be found in Luke 7:18-23. Basically the response from Jesus was this “Go and report to John what you have seen and heard: the Blind receive sight, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, the poor have the gospel preached to them. And blessed is He who keeps from stumbling over Me”. Basically this was a fulfillment of Biblical prophecy regarding signs to look for concerning the Messiah who would come hundreds of years in the future, written by Isaiah the prophet in the 7th century B.C. It comes from Isaiah chapter 35. All of these signs and wonders were things that only God Himself could do. Never before in the history of mankind had anything like this ever taken place. Jesus was indeed God. The miracles proved it!

Jesus can forgive me, because He is co-equal with the Father. He is just as much God as the Father is. I am just as much a Moore, as my dad, granddad and anyone else regardless of how far up the family tree you go. The Bible tells us that He who knew no sin, became sin for us so that we might become the righteousness of God. It was an act of His own free-will before any of us were ever born. Jesus predetermined to forgive us before one of us ever came to be. In love He predestined us the Bible says. All of us. Whether or not we accept it is up to us. God gave the free right to be forgiven to anyone who desires to be forgiven and saved regardless of what you’ve done. God accepted Jesus’ life and death on our behalf as paid in full. God wants to extend grace and favor to everyone that His own Sons’ life legally purchased on the cross, but we have to be willing to accept it. If we don’t then a terrible price has to be paid by us. An eternal Price. Fact # 6 will explain that briefly.

Fact # 6 – There is an eternal penalty for sin. Romans 6:23 - Our scriptural text for this fact states “The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord”.

In order to properly understand why there is such a tremendous penalty for sin, we must first define just exactly what sin is. The biblical definition for sin is found in 1 John 3:4. It reads “Everyone who practices sin also practices lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness”. That was our definition right there. Sin is lawlessness. In addition 1 Corinthians 15:56 tells us “The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law.

Very plainly we can conclude that sin is simply the result of breaking God’s law. Laws are instituted as safeguards to protect us from harm. We’ve already established that God is eternal. If it’s an eternal God’s law that you and I are breaking, then there has to be an eternal penalty for breaking it. If HIS word endures forever, then HIS word forever stands to charge us, prosecute us, convict us, judge us, or set us free depending on what we choose. Our passage tells us that the wages of sin is death. Wages are nothing other than what is due from services rendered. According to Romans 6:15-23 there are only 2 things which we can present ourselves slaves to. Sin, or Righteousness. If we present ourselves slaves to sin then the wage is death. If we present ourselves slaves to righteousness then the result is sanctification and eternal life. No one in their right mind actually wants the end result of sin. Because of that we have to examine which options are available to get rid of sin, and death.

There are 3 options implied that exist in order to abolish sin and death, all of which are a direct result of breaking God’s law. # 1- We have to obey God’s law perfectly. Option # 2- We have to get rid of the law entirely so as not to be subject to its’ implications, or # 3 - God Himself is going to have to make another way for us to get out from under the jurisdiction of His law.

We learned in Fact # 3 that all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. Because of that; perfect obedience to God’s law on our part is off the table and no longer an option. Let’s examine our second option which is to get rid of the law entirely. Here’s where we have another problem. If we are not the authors of the law, then we don’t have any rightful ownership of it so as to change it or abolish it. Only God who authored it has the rightful privileges of doing that. What are we left with? Option # 3 which says God must step in and make another way for us to not be under the jurisdiction of His law. What Law? The law in Ezekiel 18:20 which states “The soul who sins shall die”!

Is there a law that exists, that is above the law of sin and death? A law that is greater than the soul who sins shall die? Absolutely there is. The law of grace through faith. The law that says who-so-ever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved! Romans 10:11-13.

Romans chapter 5 tells us what we need to know regarding this law. In a nutshell it basically says that where sin abounded, grace abounded all the more. In laymen’s terms all that means is that God has a greater grace than any sin you and I could ever commit. I have a friend in the ministry, the same man who brought me the cross actually, and he always says that if you and I are better sinners than God is a savior then we’ve got problems. That’s not to say however that you and I have a free license to do what we want because God is gracious. Don’t think for a second that’s what I’m telling you. Go read Romans chapter 6. It will straighten that out real quick. The law doesn’t measure out a devastating punishment for nothing! (Romans 13:1-5). We must die to the letter of the law by living to the Spirit of Christ. Fact #7 will tell us how we can do that along the journey of our faith. God knows we are human and will make mistakes along the way. Because of that His provision still stands. Let’s look.

Fact # 7 – I can be saved from the eternal penalty of sin by confessing my sins to Jesus and asking Him to forgive me. Our Scriptural text for this fact is found in 1 John 1:9 which reads “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness”.

Why can I be forgiven from the eternal penalty of sin by confessing my sins to Jesus? Because Jesus is God. He holds the title deed and legal rights to forgive those who call upon Him because He was completely victorious over sin the whole time He lived on this earth. He lived a life of complete and perfect obedience to the law’s demands, therefore the law has no jurisdiction or supremacy over HIM. He is above sin, and He can release the penalty toward anyone who fully rests and trusts in the finished sacrificial victory of Himself on the cross. Sin is not master over Him. He has complete authority over it to do with it as He wishes. The law says the soul who sins shall die. Jesus never sinned therefore He did not have to die for anything that He had done. He chose rather to be the sacrifice on our behalf. Where there is no sin there is no penalty for sin, where there is no penalty for sin, there is no death. Though He did die a physical death on our behalf; He forever lives to intercede for you and me.

He is the Word of God who became flesh and dwelt among us according to John 1:14. That means that He is the form of God that you and I can relate to. God is 3 fold in nature. Father, Son and Holy Spirit. John 5:22 tells us that “The Father judges no-one, but that all judgment has been given to the Son”. The reason that all judgment has been given to the Son is because Jesus knows what it’s like to go through the things that you and I go through on a daily basis. He is totally fair in judgment in light of that. The Bible tells us in Hebrews 4:15 that “We do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who has been tempted in all things as we are, yet without sin”.

Jesus is also JUST to forgive us because He fully understands the things that drive us to the edge in life. He knows what it’s like to be human. He was one for 33 and ½ years. Jesus can forgive us because all sin is directly committed against God regardless of which avenue it may seem to take.

King David understood this principle when he was overridden with guilt and shame after having an innocent man murdered so that he could steal his wife. This story’s background can be found in 2 Samuel Chapter 11. David’s remorseful plea for repentance concerning what he did in this passage is found in Psalm 51:4 where he makes the famous statement toward God saying “Against You, You only have I sinned and done what is evil in your sight, So that You are JUSTIFIED when You speak and blameless when You judge”. Did not David sin against a lot of people when he committed this selfish act based upon all the details of the passage? Yes, but the fact remains that we are all property of God because He created every-one of us uniquely in His image.

If anyone of us mess with any of God’s property (Namely other human beings) then whatever acts of sin are committed are committed directly as though against God Himself. We have to get back to the source of it all. The bible tells us in Psalm 24:1 that “the earth is the Lords’ and all it contains. The world and those who dwell in it”.

Basically there isn’t anything in creation that doesn’t already belong to God. In fact we ourselves as people are not even our own though many of us think we retain full rights over ourselves. The Bible tells us in 1 Corinthians 10:13 “Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit whom you have from God. You are not your own, but rather you were bought with a price; therefore glorify God with your bodies and spirits WHICH ARE GODS”.

At best we are nothing other than stewards of what God has entrusted to us. We honestly possess true title deed ownership of nothing. Naked we came into this world and naked we shall return. From dust we came, and to dust we shall return. Who’s dust? Gods’ dust. We don’t belong to ourselves. You and I can rightly forgive others when they commit acts against us, but that still doesn’t relieve them of their responsibility to seek forgiveness from God for whatever they’ve done to us. (His property). That also goes the other way around by the way with a personal responsibility clause should we find ourselves on the offending side of that equation. We too must seek Gods’ forgiveness when we wrong others who belong to Him.

My final closing thought says that if we confess our sins, He is faith-full and JUST to forgive us. What does it mean that God is faithful to forgive us? It means that God is bound by oath of His own word to forgive us when we do what He says to do in order for us to be forgiven. Basically it’s His covenant and basically it means that it will work every-single time. It is the way it is because He made it that way. If God says confess your sins and I’ll forgive them, then that’s exactly what it means. He could have said something else if He wanted to. He could have made a different way for us to be forgiven if He had wanted to. If God did not want that to be the grounds for receiving forgiveness then He should have said something else. As it stands it is this way simply because He said so. That alone is enough when it comes to God. As the old saying goes, God said it, I believe it, and that finalizes it. Let’s look at our last fact. If everything we’ve learned up to this point about God and ourselves is true, then there’s no plausible reason to doubt that the way to be made right with Him is anything but true also.

Fact # 8 – I can BECOME a Christian by allowing Jesus to be the leader of my life NOW! – Our scriptural text that will support this fact is Romans 10:9-10 which says “That if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your HEART that God raised Him from the dead you will be saved. For it is with the heart that a person believes resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation”.

Why do you suppose it says that if we confess with our mouth Jesus as Lord and believe in our HEART that God raised Him from the dead that we will be saved? I’ll tell you why. Because there is a considerable difference in what you believe in your head as opposed to what you believe in your heart. The Bible tells us in James 2:19 “You believe that there is one God? You do well, even the demons believe and tremble”. That’s a pretty harsh comparison. Comparing an ideological belief in God to none better than what demons likewise know to be true. You see if you and I REALLY believe something we will have no problem acting upon it.

Surveys show that most people will say yes when asked do they BELIEVE in God. If that’s true then why does it not make any effect whatsoever in how they live there life? To take it a step further, many people in western society believe that just because they are born in America, they are Christians by default. If grandma or mom or dad, or maybe the family roots are somehow tied to church then I must be a Christian too RIGHT? WRONG! Fact # 3 proved to us that we were sinners by default from birth, NOT SAVED! We must be born again by the Spirit of God. There is a saying that says if you’re born once you’ll die twice, if your born twice you’ll die once! 2 Corinthians 5:17 says “if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. Old things have passed away, behold everything has become new”.

What we do with our salvation is what demonstrates whether or not we genuinely believe what we say we believe. James 2:14-18 also says it this way. What good is faith if you have no works? Can such a faith save a man?

There was a very good example shared with me years back that really illustrates this point. It’s a story about a tightrope walker back in the 1920’s who’s plan was to come to New York City and stretch a wire between 2 of the city’s tallest skyscrapers. His intent was to push a wheelbarrow across it hundreds of feet up in the air. This big event was published in the newspaper for weeks in advance to draw a crowd. The day finally arrived and thousands of spectators had gathered to watch him do this. Before he took the first step he yelled out. “How many of you believe I can safely push this wheelbarrow all the way across to the other side? Raise your hands if you believe I can do it! Hands went up everywhere. He said “keep your hands up. You say you believe I can do it. I want to ask you another question. Who will be the first volunteer to ride in the wheelbarrow while I push it across”? As you can imagine hands dropped everywhere. What am I saying? If they really believed he could do it, then they should have no trouble stepping up to the plate and putting their life in his hands right? What about you? Do you BELIEVE in God so as to put your very life in His hands? Or do you simply acknowledge the plausibility that yes I think there is a God that does exist?

That story demonstrates the difference between an ideological belief in God that countless thousands if not millions hold as opposed to a belief from the heart that is motivated by faith. What is God asking you to do? Surrender control of your life to Him and enjoy the ride. Let Him call the shots. So many people are very quick to say I believe in God and go so far as to call themselves Christians, yet the second God makes a demand on them they’re gone. Warriors aren’t born, they’re made. (I say that with caution I’ll clarify that shortly). Ask anyone for example who has ever accepted the challenge of joining the United States Marines. Just because they enlisted in the Marines does that mean that they are warriors? Absolutely not. Countless hours of harsh training are in store, and if successfully completed then they may rightly call themselves warriors. Granted the day they sign up they are legal property of the United States Marines but that’s not all there is to being a Marine.

Becoming a Christian is KIND of the same way. The instant that you genuinely accept Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior; you will by no means ever be any more or less saved no matter how long you walk with God than you were the day you turned to Him. In theory yes you have become a Christian just by believing in Jesus and confessing Him as Lord. Should something happen to you, absolutely you are Christ’s possession. Your name is entered into the Lambs Book of Life the moment you believe but Christianity is like life. We all must be born as babes, be fed and grow into maturity.

If you are saved right now let me say congratulations to you no matter which stage of spiritual development you find yourself in. But just like enlisting in the Marines, there’s much to be done, and intense training to follow to equip you for the day of battle that begins the moment you genuinely say I Do! The instant you accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior you will have just stepped out on the front lines of a life-long battle between your flesh and spirit. You will no doubt have to learn how to fight. The enemy will attack you from every angle, and do everything that he possibly can to try and get you to recant your decision to follow Jesus.

If you really mean business, and are genuinely serious about making Him Lord of your life, rest assured that Jesus is equally as serious in seeing you through all the way to the day you breathe your last breath on this earth. Philippians 1:6 tells us that “He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus”. God has no intentions of leaving any of His soldiers captive prisoners of war. If you mean business, so does God. Find someone who will help you seek out your gifts and talents in the body of Christ and help you to develop them. These people are not hard to spot.

Humility is the trademark of greatness in God’s kingdom. His 5 star generals on this earth will always be the most humble people you will ever meet. Not those who are continually flamboyantly strutting their spiritual feathers with a look at me and what I can do attitude. God can use you and me best when we are empty of our-self and full of Him! As John says in John 3:30 “He (Jesus) must increase, and I must decrease”. Paul mimicked him a few years later in Galatians 2:20 by saying that “I have been crucified with Christ and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me, and the life I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the son of God who loved me, and gave Himself up for me”. For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain! Let’s remember in closing what saving faith is.

True saving faith is a faith that is willing to put your life in the hands of Jesus and trust Him and Him alone to carry you safely to the other side. If the guy pushing you in the wheelbarrow in the example above said lean left or lean right along the way to keep you from plummeting hundreds of feet below you’d do it right? After all your life is basically in his hands. So why not trust that whatever God asks you to do is for your best interest along the journey of your salvation?

Is it because you don’t really trust Him? Maybe you’re afraid He will ask you to give something up that you’re not ready to turn loose of just yet? Maybe He will ask you to do something for Him? I assure you He will sooner or later but you need not be afraid. Whatever He asks you to do, He will also thoroughly equip you to do it. Why not join in and be someone He can use to reach others with your life? In the words of Jesus Luke 18:8 “will the SON of man find faith on the earth when He returns”?

Jesus is the only one who will carry you and I safely home to heaven. Will you trust Him and Him alone to do it? All judgment has been handed over to the Son. John 5:22. Your eternal life is going to be in His hands regardless sooner or later. There will come a time the Bible says when every knee will bow, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. Philippians 2:10-11. You can do it now in this life and be saved by that confession in the confines of time, or you can do it on the other side of the grave in humble acknowledgment of who He is and be eternally lost in hell forever knowing that He is indeed who He said He was. Jesus came to this earth the first time to seek and save that which was lost. Call upon Him while He is near. The next time he appears It won’t be so pretty!

If you’d like to be saved, do exactly what this last factual verse says to do. ROMANS 10:9-10. Admit to God you’re a sinner. Believe on Jesus Christ as God’s only provision for your sins. Confess Him as Lord of your life and live for Him daily. Get Baptized, Read your Bible, Pray, Study the Bible, find a good church family and grow in your faith. Don’t just take, but give as God begins to give to you. He calls us all for a specific purpose. You possess gifts, talents, and contributions to the body of Christ that no else on earth can do quite like you can! Get in the fight, and take the World for Jesus Christ AMEN! God needs those who will rise up and take a stand for Him in such a time as this!

God Bless you! If this ministry endeavor has helped you in any way, I would desperately love to hear about it, also please feel free to pass it along to everyone you know who needs it. Lastly if it is not too much to ask, would you be willing to visit my support and contact page. I’d like to be able to keep doing this as long as possible.
